The Azure Load Balancer configuration option allows you to install the SI Server on multiple Azure hosted virtual servers with an Azure TCP load balancer. This option requires the SQL database to be stored in an Azure managed SQL instance and Azure blob storage to manage files.

1/ When the SI Server Configuration Wizard opens, click the Azure Load Balancer button.

2/ When prompted, select Primary Server and click OK.

Primary Server - Configures and upgrades managed SQL Server, configures Azure Blob Storage, and exports a JSON configuration file.

Secondary Server - Imports the JSON configuration file generated from the Primary Server.

3/ Enter your managed SQL instance name (must end in database.windows.net) and authentication credentials, then click Next.

4/ Here you can edit the default ports (if needed) and enter your Azure Blob connection string, then click Next.

5/ You will see a summary from the previous steps. Click Next.

6/ Once configured, you will be prompted to export the configuration file for setting up your Secondary Server. Click Yes and then save the JSON file to your preferred location.

7/ On your Secondary Server, after installing the SI Server, click the Azure Load Balancer option.

8/ Select the Secondary Server option and click OK.

9/ Browse to the JSON file you saved in step 6.
