The first time you connect your SI Client to your SI Server, you will be prompted to set up SI. Setting up SI refers to configuring the SI settings to use SI efficiently.
You have two options to set up SI:
Quick Setup - a quick setup procedure with the most important default settings.
Control Panel - a comprehensive list of default SI settings categorized by the area they impact.
Quick Setup
Go to the SI Start menu and click Quick Setup.
The Quick Setup page has links to the most common settings in SI for your Company—clients, catalog, projects, reports, and mobile quote.
Control Panel
Go to the SI Start menu and click Control Panel.
The Control Panel page has links to all of your primary default settings in SI.
