To work in an SI Client, you must be connected to the SI Server installed in your network. The first time you launch the SI Client after installing it, you will be prompted to connect to the SI Server.

If you are not the Administrator user who set up the SI Server, you will be required to get the following details from them to connect to the server:

  • Use Name/Email - the user name or the email address provided for the "First Administrative User" when setting up the server.

  • Password - the password provided for the "First Administrative User" when setting up the server.

  • Name or IP Address - the computer name or IP address of the machine where the server is installed.

  • Port - the default port when running the Express Configuration is 9010. If Custom Configuration was run and another port number was used, you will need that port number.

If you cannot remember the username and password of the "First Administrative User," check the email you (or your Administrator) received when the SI Server installation was completed.

You have the following options to make future logins easy:

  • Remember me - will remember your username and password, and you don't have to enter them each time you connect.

  • Connect automatically - when you launch the SI Client in the future, you won't see the Connect to Server form.

If this is the first time someone in your company has logged in to an SI Client, they will be prompted to register the software.

If you are ever disconnected from your SI Server, you can always attempt to reconnect via the Start menu.
