You can add products from AV-IQ Library to the SI catalog.
To add products, go to Product Explorer and click Library > Add From.
You will see the Add Products From Library interface.
Here, click the AV-IQ button.
You will see the Add Products From Library modal. A list of all of AV-IQ's categories and subcategories will be displayed on the left side.
Download Options
You can download products in multiple ways.
Multiple products
If you want to download multiple products displayed on the page, use Shift or Ctrl on your keyboard to select the products, click the Download button in the ribbon, and click Selected.
Another option is to select the products you want to download using Shift or Ctrl on your keyboard, then drag them to the Downloads section on the right side of the interface.
All products on a page
If you click the Download button in the ribbon and click All, all products displayed on the page will be downloaded. You can change the "records per page" at the bottom of the page to download more products in a single download.
One product
If you want to download one product, select the product you wish to download and click the Download button next to the selected product.
Product Field and Other Options
You can choose which product fields to download, along with a few other options for the downloaded products.
Under "Field to update for," you will see two tabs to specify the product fields that should be downloaded.
New products: Products not in your SI catalog.
Matched products: Products already downloaded to your SI catalog.
You can select different fields under each tab to specify which fields will be downloaded for new and matched products.
For matched products (already downloaded to your SI catalog), be wary of overwriting fields you have customized.
The following are the other options.
Option | Description |
Mark new products as approved | This option is checked by default.
You can uncheck this to review and approve the downloaded products before making them available to other SI users. |
Ignore blank product field values | This option is checked by default.
Having this checked will not overwrite the manually updated fields of products you have previously downloaded from AV-IQ Library with blank values, if those fields currently have blank values in AV-IQ Library.

Download product thumbnails | This will download the JPG thumbnail image for products. |
Download product large images | This will download the other images available for the products. For example, the front and back panel images. |
Example scenario: Ignore blank product field values
You downloaded a product with no MSRP value and no specifications.
You manually add the MSRP, but request that the specifications be made available.
You are notified that the product specifications have been added, so you open the D-Tools data browser and choose to download the product again.
You would want the "Ignore blank product field values" box checked to prevent the MSRP you manually entered from being zeroed out.
