The Export feature allows you to create a comma-separated value (CSV) file. You can use this file to edit your products and later import your updated products back into the SI catalog.
To export products, go to Product Explorer and click Export under the Tools tab.
When you click the Export button, you can export all your products or those you selected in the grid.
You can also export the current layout (columns) you are viewing, or choose the fields you wish to export.
You will see a modal to choose what fields should be displayed for you to export.
Display fields which can be imported (exxlude calculated fields) - this will display most of the fields in the SI catalog.
Display all fields (include calculated fields) - this will display all fields, including the calculated fields and the catalog ID. Catalog ID is a match option that you can use to match the product in the CSV file and that in the catalog when you are importing the downloaded CSV file after updating the product fields.
Both options will show a list of fields that you can select to be downloaded in the CSV file.
Click Ok, and the file will be downloaded and will open automatically in Excel. Once you have updated the fields in the downloaded file, you can use the Import feature to synchronize the updates to the SI catalog.
