You can access the Labor Price Rules setting in the Control Panel to add and manage labor price rules.

Labor price rules allow you to create formulas to apply to labor Items in your SI catalog or projects to change any pricing related to the labor Items.

You can also create "Labor Price Rule Groups" to group and apply multiple labor price rules simultaneously.

Labor price rules and labor price rule groups are global, meaning they will be automatically shared with all users.

To access the Labor Price Rules setting, click the following icon.

This will open the following form.

You can add as many labor price rules as you would like to.

To add a new labor price rule:

1/ Click New > Price Rule.

2/ On the form, do the following.

a/ Select a Destination field from the following.

b/ Select a Source field from the following.

c/ Select an Operation from the following.

d/ In the Value field, set a value based on the chosen operation.

e/ In the Name field, enter a name for the rule or select Set price rule name automatically to set the rule name to the formula used for the rule.

3/ Click Save.

Labor price rule groups allow you to apply multiple labor price rules to labor items and choose the order in which they are applied.

To create a labor price rule group:

1/ Click New > Price Rule Group.

2/ In the form, do the following.

a/ Click Add and add multiple labor price rules.

b/ Use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to reorder the added rules.

When applied to labor items, the rules will be applied in the order set in the price rule group.

3/ Click Save.

You can apply labor price rules to multiple labor items in the Labor Explorer via the Tools tab.

You can also apply labor price rules within the Project Editor via the Tools tab. In the Tools tab, click Update > Labor Price Rules.
