You can access the Product Price Types setting in the Control Panel to add and manage different product price types. These price types can be used in projects and service orders.
To access the Product Price Types setting, click the following icon.
This will open the following form.
Add and Manage Product Price Types
You can add up to 50 product price types.
To add a new product price type:
1/ Click New.
2/ On the form, enter a name and description for the price type.
3/ Click Save.
Set a Price Type as Default
One project price type must be set as the default for projects. The default project price type will be used on new projects unless overridden by the price type assigned to the client.
One service order price type will need to be set as the default for service orders. The default service order price type will be used on new service orders.
You can set the same price type as the default for both projects and service orders.
Update Price Type
In the SI catalog, all the price types you have added will be listed for a product.
Within a project, only the default project price type will be displayed on the Price tab.
You can change the price type anytime by clicking the Change Product Price link.
Within a service order, only the default service order price type will be displayed on the Products tab.
You can change the price type anytime by clicking the Manage Product Price Types link.
