You can use the Add Selected Items To feature in Project Editor to add products and labor items already in the project's Bill of Materials (BOM) to either a new or existing package, allowance, bundled cable, or solution.
To use this feature, select the items you wish to add to a new or existing package and then click Add Selected Items To in the Project tab.
New Package
Select any of the New (Package, Allowance, Bundled Cable, or Solution) options. In the following screenshot, we clicked New Package.
You will be required to enter a name.
Existing
If you choose to add to an existing (Package, Allowance, Bundled Cable, or Solution), you will be prompted to select from the available list of packages.
Any changes you make here, whether adding to a new or existing entity, are only for the project; the actual entity in the catalog is not updated, nor are new ones created.
You can always use the Update to Catalog feature to add new packages, allowances, bundled cables, and solutions to your catalog.
