You can use the Replace feature in Project Editor to replace the products, labor items, packages, or solutions in the project. This feature is essentially a "delete or add" function, but with the added benefit of maintaining some of the original item's information.

For this feature to work for multiple items, the items must be of the same type (products, labor items, packages, or solutions).

To use this feature, select the items you want to replace, click the Replace button, and choose either product, labor, or package.

This will open the following form listing the products (in this example) in your catalog.

The list may be filtered by category and subcategory, but you can click the Reset button on the ribbon to clear the filter and view your entire product list.

.You have a Project setting under the Control Panel to remove this pre-filter.

Choose a replacement item from your catalog, or if necessary, you can create a new product.

You have multiple options for maintaining the characteristics of the item that you are replacing.
