You can use the Update Install Status feature in Project Editor to update the Install Status fields of multiple products simultaneously.
Install Status fields update automatically from tasks, but if you are not using tasks, this is how you can update these fields with data from your third-party task management system.
1/ Select the products for which you wish to update the install status and click Update > More > Install Status from the Tools tab.
This will open up the following form.
Here you can select the fields you wish to update and enter values.
2/ Click the Update button when done.
This will populate the selected fields for the selected items.
You can also view and edit these fields on individual items from the Edit Product form.
