You can use the Foreign Currency Conversion feature in Project Editor to convert all pricing in a report to a different currency. This allows you to generate reports for multiple currencies easily.
This feature is only available when running reports from within Project Editor.
1/ Click the Foreign Currency button in the Reports tab to open the Reports Foreign Currency Options form.
2/ Use the dropdown menu to select a country (current format), then enter the exchange rate.
3/ If you click the Currency Converter link, a currency converter from Google Finance will launch in a browser.
4/ Click Yes to use the conversion rate from Google Finance.
When you generate reports, the pricing will be converted to the chosen currency with the relevant currency symbol.
This feature does not change the pricing for any of the price types in your catalog; it is solely for reporting.
The Export to PDF option within the Report Viewer has a known issue in Active Reports 7 that will convert all numerals in the report to the alphabet of the chosen country.
Print the report in PDF format instead of using the Export to PDF option to get around the issue. There are many free PDF printers available online.
