The Sync feature in the Product Explorer and Labor Explorer allows you to synchronize changes between SI and QuickBooks for the following fields: Cost, Price, Short/Long Description, Vendor, Item Number, and Custom Fields.
The Sync > All function does not work for QuickBooks Online; you must use Sync > Selected.
This form will list only the selected items that have differences between SI and QuickBooks in the following fields: Cost, Price, Short/Long Description, Vendor, Part Number, and Custom Fields.
You can click on each item, and any differences will be displayed at the bottom of the form. You can also choose which fields to update. For example, you should sync only pricing rather than descriptions.
When you've selected, click either the Sync To QuickBooks button or the Sync From QuickBooks button.
If you have defined any of your five available Custom fields in QuickBooks, you can use the Map button to convert them to SI fields.
This opens the following form where you can make your selections.
Custom fields only sync from SI to QuickBooks, not vice versa.
