Error Message - Cannot open systemintegratorcache_65.sdf

The issue being discussed in this article is:

Upon launching the SI Client, you receive the following error message:

Cannot open 'c:\users\userName\appdata\roaming\d-tools\six\data\systemintegratorcache_65.sdf'. Provider 'System.Data.SqlServerCe.3.5' not installed.

The following is the screenshot of the error:

The error message may include a slightly different path.

Instead of \D-Tools\SIX\Data, it may be "\SI2015\" or "\SI2016\" instead of "SIX" depending on when you installed the first D-Tools on your machine.

The following is the resolution:

Please try the SQL CE installation. Please use the link below to install it manually.

If you already have it installed, please uninstall and reinstall. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...s.aspx?id=5821


If it still does not work, please try installing the latest version of the SI 2016 Client. http://downloads.d-tools.com/si/2016/SIClient.exe
