TRXio is a third-party software for managing your inventory. This integration offers customers the ability to export SI Projects to TRXio, eliminating double data entry and making it easier to manage your product inventory.
SI Projects can be exported from SI and then imported into TRXio. To use this integration, you must first set it up. You will need an active TRXio account to proceed.
Setup
1/ In SI, go to Start > Control Panel, then double-click TRXio in the Integration section.
2/ Tick the "Enable Integration" box. The SI API Key will automatically be populated and there is a copy button next to it. Click the copy button then click Save.
3/ Log in to your TRXio account.
4/ Click the Settings button and then the Configuration link.
5/ Click the Integration tab, then toggle the button to Yes for D-Tools SI and paste your API Key in the field.
SI and TRXio are now configured to work together.
Exporting/Importing Projects
The way the integration with TRXio works is that you will export SI Project data and then import that data into TRXio.
1/ From the Project Explorer in SI select the Project(s) you wish to export and then click the Integrations tab, then the Export button.
Note: The Project(s) must be checked out to you to export.
2/ The Project(s) will either export automatically or, if you are connected to more than one third-party integration, you will be prompted to choose where to export the Project. Tick the box next to TRXio and click Export.
You will get a confirmation once the Project has been exported.
3/ Log in to TRXio, click the Projects button, and select D-Tools Import.
A window will open showing all available exported Projects.
4/ Click the Import button next to the Project you wish to import.
If any of the Products in the Project do not already exist in TRXio, you will be prompted to create them before importing the Project.
5/ When you click Start you will be prompted to create the missing Products in TRXio.
Once all of the Products are created, you will be prompted to create any other missing fields before importing, e.g. the Customer.
6/ The D-Tools Project Details window will open where you can make adjustments as needed. When ready, click the Import button.
Once imported, you have the option to view the Project.
Exporting/Importing Purchase Orders
In addition to exporting SI Projects, Purchase Orders can also be exported and then imported into TRXio.
1/ Select the Purchase Order(s) you want to export to TRXio, and click the export button on the Integrations tab.
2/ The Purchase Order(s) will either export automatically or, if you are connected to more than one third-party integration, you will be prompted to choose where to export the Purchase Order. Tick the box next to TRXio and click Export.
3/ Log in to TRXio, click the Labeling button, and select Import from D-Tools.
Here you will see a list of all Purchase Orders that have been exported to TRXio and have yet to be imported.
4/ Click the Import button next to the Purchase Order of choice.
If any of the Products on the Purchase Order do not already exist in TRXio, you will be prompted to create them before importing the Purchase Order.
5/ When you click Start you will be prompted to create the missing Products in TRXio.
Once all of the Products are created, you will be prompted to create any other missing fields before importing, e.g. the Vendor.
Automation
At some point, rather than exporting each Project or Purchase Order individually, you may want to automate the export to TRXio via Integration Settings.
From the Control Panel, open Manage Integrations and then click the Settings button.
Here you can choose to automate Project and Purchase Order exports based on check-in or status change.
Checking Inventory
In SI you can check the inventory levels in TRXio in your Catalog, Projects, and when adding items to a Purchase Order.
From the Catalog, select your Products, click the Integrations tab, and then Check Inventory > TRXio.
From a Project, select your Products, click the Tools tab, and then Check Inventory > TRXio.
This feature is also available when adding products to a Purchase Order.
