Tracknicity is a third-party software that manages your inventory. The integration between Tracknicity and SI allows customers to export SI projects and purchase orders to Tracknicity, eliminating double data entry and making it easier to manage their product inventory.
You will need a Tracknicity account to enable the integration.
Integration Workflow
Here is the basic workflow for the integration. Please use the diagram below as a high-level reference of the current features and capabilities of the integration.
Enable Integration
Do the following to enable the integration.
1/ In SI, go to Start > Control Panel, and double-click Tracknicity under Integrations.
2/ Select the Enable Integration checkbox, then Yes to the prompt to generate the API key.
The SI API Key field will automatically be populated.
3/ Click the Copy button and click Save.
4/ Log in to your Tracknicity account.
5/ Click Company > D-Tools Integration.
6/ Paste the SI API key in the second field and click Save.
7/ Copy the Tracknicity API key.
8/ In the SI Control Panel, under Integrations, open Trackinicity settings.
9/ Paste the Tracknicity API key in the Tracknicity API Key field and click Save.
You'll see a confirmation message similar to the one below if all goes well.
The integration between SI and Tracknicity is now enabled.
Export Projects
You will need to export an SI project individually and import it into Tracknicity.
1/ In SI, go to Project Explorer, select the project you wish to export, click the Integrations tab, then the Export button.
The project must be checked out to you to export.
2/ The project will either export automatically or, if connected to multiple third-party integrations, you will be prompted to choose where to export the project.
3/ Select the checkbox next to Tracknicity and click Export.
You will get a confirmation once the project has been exported.
4/ Log in to Tracknicity to work with the exported project.
Export Purchase Orders
You will need to export a SI purchase order individually and import it into Tracknicity.
1/ In SI, go to Purchase Order Explorer, select the purchase order you wish to export, click the Integrations tab, then the Export button.
2/ The purchase order will either export automatically or, if connected to multiple third-party integrations, you will be prompted to choose where to export the purchase order.
3/ Select the checkbox next to Tracknicity and click Export.
You will get a confirmation once the purchase order has been exported.
4/ Log in to Tracknicity to work with the exported purchase order.
Check Product Inventory
You can check the SI product inventory in Tracknicity from the SI catalog, an SI project, and when adding products to a purchase order.
From the SI catalog, select your products, click the Integrations tab, and then Check Inventory > Tracknicity.
From an SI project, select your products, click the Tools tab, and then Check Inventory > Tracknicity.
This feature is also available when adding products to a purchase order.
