You can access the Multi-Office Settings in the Control Panel to define the role of the SI Server in using the Multi-Office Data Sync functionality.

If you want to know how the Multi-Office Data Sync functionality works, check out this article.

To access the Multi-Office Settings, click the following icon.

Main Office

The main office is where you want to create SI publications and allow child offices to subscribe to the publications.

If you are on the main office's SI Server, then you will need to add the names and IP addresses of the SI Servers in the child offices that need to subscribe to the publications.

To add a child office, click Add and enter the name of the office and the IP address of the SI Server in that office.

  • If your SI Servers are not on the same network, the IP address should be public, i.e, globally reachable.

  • If your SI Servers are on the same network, the IP address should be private.

Once you have added the child offices, click Save.

Child Office

The child office is an office that will subscribe to one or more publications created in the main office.

If you are on the child office's SI Server, select Child Office, and click Save.
