You can use the Layouts feature in the Project Editor to choose what columns are displayed and how the items are grouped, and view project data in Custom views.

There are some preset layouts and you can create your own Custom Layouts.

Each layout has specific columns. Although you can resize and move columns, your changes will not be saved for future use.

Layouts are available for most of the Summary Views as well. There is only one default layout for these since there are so few fields, but you can create custom layouts to choose what columns you want to view and in what order.

Also on this tab is a section of options in the ribbon.

You can collapse and expand your groupings. This can be done individually or right-click to Expand All or Collapse All.

You can also choose whether you want to keep the package items with packages, accessories, and alternates with the parent item, which are other grouping options in the Project Editor.

Most of the time you will likely want these items to display together but often when you are searching or filtering you may not want them grouped.
