Time Sheet Validation Settings

You can access the Time Sheet Validation Settings in the Control Panel to enable validation and check for some required parameters in Time Sheets before approving them.

To access the Time Sheet Validation Settings, click the following icon.

This will display the following form.

The phase and labor types checkboxes are selected by default. This ensures that any timesheet uploaded to SI, even with one missing phase or labor type entry, will be marked as invalid.

You can relax the validation criteria by deselecting the parameters.

The validation criteria you set here apply to time sheets for projects, tasks, service orders, and Company Entry logs.

During the time sheet approval, the entries that don't meet the validation criteria will show a Red Exclamation icon and a prompt with the count of such entries. You can approve them or ask users to update the time sheets to meet the validation criteria.
