Quotes allow you to present a room-wise and system-wise listing of products and labor involved in the project. You can also specify other details, such as the scope, retainer deposit amount, and contingency amount.
Go to the My Quotes screen and tap the + icon at the top-right corner. Then, follow the five-step workflow to create a quote.
The following are the steps involved in creating the quote.
#1 Name and Theme
Enter a name for the quote.
You can select a theme for the quote. Themes are built into the app; you can choose from various themes. If you don't want to use a theme, tap None.
Tap Next.
#2 Client Name
Here, you will see the name, address, email, and phone number fields to add the client's details. You can tap Import at the top to import contact details from your iPad.
Tap Next.
#3 Pricing Guidelines
Now select the Project Type.
Project Type is a setting under the Control Panel with labor price, labor tax, labor difficulty factor, systems, locations, retainer, and contingency values.

If the Project Type has the Allow users to adjust settings option selected, you can change the labor, system, location, retainer, and contingency values.
Next, select the Price/Quality Level of the items you want to add to this quote.
Tap Next.
#4 Scope and Objective
Type in the scope of work for the project. The editor has text input and formatting options. You can also use the speech-to-text feature on your iPad to define the scope of work.
Select a Meeting Objective. The Meeting Objective setting under the Control Panel allows you to add meeting objectives with a title and some relevant text.

#5 Retainer/Deposit Amount
Select whether you want to request a retainer deposit and specify whether you want a percentage of products and labor, a fixed amount, or an amount per square foot as the retainer.
Select whether you want to enable contingency for the project and specify it as a percentage of products and labor prices.
Tap Done, and you will see the edit view of the quote.
