Since Mobile Quote is an add-on functionality to SI, you will need to understand the different synchronizations that occur between SI and Mobile Quote when you initially start using it. Some of these are automatic, and some need to be done manually.
Project Types
Project Type is a setting under the SI Control Panel with labor price, labor tax, labor difficulty factor, systems, locations, retainer, and contingency values associated with it.

The Project Types you created in SI are automatically synchronized to Mobile Quote. When you select a Project Type for a quote, it brings along the labor price, labor tax, labor difficulty factor, systems, locations, retainer, and contingency values to the quote.
Meeting Objectives
Meeting Objective is a setting under the SI Control Panel with a title and relevant text associated with it.

Meeting Objectives you created in SI are automatically synchronized to Mobile Quote. When you select a Meeting Objective for a quote, it brings along the title and text to the quote.
Catalog
When you first start using Mobile Quote, you won't be able to create quotes because the SI Catalog is not available to add items to the quotes. You will need to build a Mobile Quote catalog in SI by selecting some or all categories and packages.
Once you have built the Mobile Quote catalog in SI, the selected categories and packages will synchronize with Mobile Quotes. Your Mobile Quote users will then be able to add Items from the selected categories and packages to the quotes.

Quotes
Once the quotes are approved in Mobile Quote, you can synchronize them to SI to create the project and execute it at the work site.
